Specimen: 2 air dried peripheral blood smears (1 thick and 1 thin) OR 2 mL (1 mL min.) whole blood from 1 Lavender Top (EDTA) tube OR 2 mL (1 mL min.) Hydrocele fluid. Draw specimen between 12 midnight to 2 am. Ship refrigerated. DO NOT FREEZE. Submit Skin Snip in a normal saline
